In January 2017, Frank Markowitsch will conduct the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for the first time in a performance of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. Following his work with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir last year, he has now once again been invited to Liverpool to continue this successful collaboration. Ian Tracey, chorus master of the choir for more than 30 years, will be in charge of choral preparation for this production. The soloists will be Ruby Hughes, Claudia Huckle, Thomas Walker, and Neal Davies.
