Baroque music can sound moving and thrilling. This has been proven by the Vokalakademie Berlin on their first CD as well as in many concerts. With their second CD project they set the bar even higher: Antonio Caldara’s music from his time at the Viennese Court is as varied as eventful. With up to 16 voices, with cornets, baroque trombones and strings. And most of these works have never been published on CD!

The CD will be recorded in February in the Lindenkirche in Berlin. On February the 17th, 8pm, you have the chance to listen to the choir in a concert related to this recording. There will be no entrance fee, just come by and enjoy!

The CD production for the label Rondeau is supported by Deutschlandradio Kultur
