The DSO (Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin) performs the Symphony No. 5 by George Enescu for Tenor, Womens’ Choir and Orchestra on April 13th under the baton of Peter Ruzicka. Frank Markowitsch will study the parts with the Women of the RIAS Kammerchor. Peter Ruzicka conducted the first performance in Germany of this piece only in 2012. George Enescu composed – but didn’t finish – it in 1941. In the 90ies Pascal Bentoiu completed and instrumented the symphony.
