Frank Markowitsch will work with the renowned French chamber choir accentus for the very first time in December 2016, where he will be in charge of the choir rehearsals for Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio”. The performances with the ensemble Le Poème Harmonique under the direction of Laurence Equilbey will take place in the Philharmonie de Paris, the opera in Rouen, and the chapel of Versailles from 17 – 19 December 2016.
After last year’s successful work with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir, Frank Markowisch will continue his cooperation with the group conducting George Frederick Handel’s “Messiah”. The performance of the oratorio with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the soloists Ruby Hughes, Claudia Huckle, Thomas Walker, and Neal Davies will take place in January 2017.
